| Bio: | hi everyone! ive had one livejournal accout before but did one entry then freaked out when i realised other people could read it and avoided livejournal for the next couple of years. but kate is trying desperately to convert me into a constant livejournal user, even though i have a real pen-and-paper diary which does just fine- thankyou very much, but i guess i might as well give this a go. So i should write about myself eh? god knows where this is gonna show up but oh well. my names ruby, aka rubyjo, roo, rubez, roola, etc. I'm about 172cm tall with big brown eyes, long very straight medium-brown hair, olive skin (yay i got a tan over the holidays!), a pointy nose, big lips, and a pretty average figure. my motto is 'seize the moment before it's gone' though i like to lengthen it when i can to: all thats for certain is that the sun will rise tomorrow and life will go on living. seize the moment, every day should be amazing and every second breathtaking. life is there to be lived, mistakes are there to be made, moments are there to be acted upon and dreams are the kidling to your life. u like it? i made it up myself (just then actually but shush!) heres some random stuff i like... laughing and talking and ACTING, im planning on becoming a famous actress when i grow up. i also like having mudfights, playing with fire, snorkelling at guerilla bay (the most awsome place on the planet), stargazing with amazing people, having deep conversations with friends about the meaning of life, going skinnydipping by myself at midnight, eating (practically anything), laughing so hard i cry, writing long in-depth and heartfelt entries into my diary, making my friends smile, the feeling i get when i'm onstage in the limelight, flirting, dressing up really skanky with my friends and doing fashion shoots, texting, phone calls that go for ages and ages even though it only feels like its been a few minutes, people who seem to understand me even when i cant understand myself, nail polish that doesnt chip off straight away, guys with freckles, drama guys, when amazing things happen out of the blue, friends who are comletely honest with me and love me for who i am instead of who i pretend to be sometimes, going to a horror movie with a guy that'll snuggle up to me, a guy that'll play along with my stupid imaginings (go damo and the alien thing!), the adrenalin rush i get when people are looking at me interestedly, the feeling that someone genuinly likes my weirdness, people that stray from the ordinary, TIMOTHY! (love you!!), those lollies that have that thing around them that looks like a wrapper but is actually edible (i hope) and really yummy... i like dancing in the rain. i like the feeling i get standing on the beach digging my toes into the place where the sand meets the water, staring up at the stars knowing that i am the happiest person alive. i like sucking peoples fingers. i like it when people tell me they love me on the spur of the moment. i love being busy. i love looking at my school diary and seeing nothing but an overflow of socialising and laughs. i like laughing so hard i cry and tears run down my face. i like hugging. i like hugging people who i know are hugging me because they think im special. i love kissing when its sincere and romantic. i love people who live off others happiness. i love arguments that i know are just invented so we can make up. i love seeing someone that i havent seen for a long time and being able to notice everything about them freshly. i love the smell just afetr its rained and the world is clean and glistening. i love stained glass windows that project colour onto my skin. i love blowing bubbles in summer and watching them fly away. i love it when someone holds my hand with both of theirs. i love smelling people. i love guys deoderant mixed with their sweat. i love feeling the warmth of someones smile radiate onto me. i love being able to watch someone slep for a long time and how their facial expressions change slightly as they dream things they'll never remember. i love throwing popcorn at randoms in the movies. i love my boyfriend even though he annoys me. i love imagining what it would be like to fly or be invisible. i love all my close friends who i can tell anything, knowing that they'll understand or even if they dont they'll try their best to. i love movies that make me go fuzzy inside. i love the feeling of lightheadedness after a really good date. i love rides at theme parks that give me adrenalin rushes. i love being able to look at someone and smile for no reason. i love wondering what being in love could feel like and if its ever happened to me. i love places that make me feel completely calm and peaceful. i love believing that anything is possible and endings dont exist. basically i like many things. now to the things i dislike... rasicm, sexism, patriotism, people who judge other things based on their image, people who get a kick out of hurting others (mentally or physically), when you accidently stubb your toe or bite your lip, a really awkward date, guys who are all talk, people who cut for attention, people who believe that any certain group of people deserve to die just because they happen to belong to that group, friends that turn out to be backstabbing bitches, people who are so caught up in themselves to notice anyone else, the feeling you get just before you puke, the feeling of being disorganised, failing maths exams, art teachers who refuse to appreciate my sense of style, anyone who doubts that i will ever acheive my dream of becoming a famous actress... well i could go on forever but i'm starting to doubt whether this will EVER get read by ANYONE so i'll stop now. peace out my fellow livejournalians!! love you all rubyjo xx | ||||
